Kent Business School is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral Research Associate in Innovation. We are looking for an early career scholar who is keen to make a strong contribution to our internationally recognised research programme in innovation.
You will have demonstrated the ability to conduct research through the successful completion of a doctoral thesis at a reputable institution and ideally have published a job-market paper in a highly rated journal. An interest in developing a strong research trajectory in academic entrepreneurship, university-industry-government relationships, or science and technology based innovation would be expected. While this post is research-focused, we will offer the post holder the opportunity to develop a teaching profile in the area of innovation and entrepreneurship as part of their career development.
The post is offered on a full time basis for a period of 3 years.
As Research Associate you will:
- engage in individual and collaborative research and scholarship;
- contribute fully to the School and University by participating in meetings;
- contribute to the delivery of high-quality, demand-driven and student-centred taught programmes
To be successful in this role you will have:
- PhD or equivalent in relevant area
- Specific knowledge in the advertised subject area
- The ability to conduct research independently
